John Brinckman was born January 15th, 1951. He grew up in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin and graduated from high school there in 1969. Mr. Brinckman attended college at the University of Wisconsin, Madison campus. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1973. From 1973 to 1978, Mr. Brinckman was employed with the Xerox Corporation. He quit Xerox to pursue a career in law. Mr. Brinckman attended law school at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. He received his J.D. in 1981. He was admitted to the Wisconsin and Minnesota Bars in 1981. Mr. Brinckman is a member of the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. Although Mr. Brinckman has practiced in a number of different areas of law, his primary focus at this point in his career is criminal defense. Since being admitted to the bar, Mr. Brinckman has tried hundreds of criminal jury trials to completion. He is recognized as one of the most experienced and aggressive criminal trial attorneys in the area.
